The Jacksonville Area Ship Repair Association was founded in 2005 by corporate officers of individual private sector shipyards who felt an organization devoted to the interests of the ship repair industry would be beneficial to its success, as well as provide a strong community for all those involved in the industry.
We began with 21 charter members of JASRA, and over the past 13 years we have grown to nearly 60 members.
JASRA works closely with the U.S. Navy, local leaders, business leaders, government agencies and other maritime organizations in an effort to assure the continued success of the ship repair industry in Jacksonville, and to promote and expand opportunities for members.
JASRA is a trade association representing companies engaged in, or supporting, the ship repair industry. The association is incorporated as a non-profit, (501c(6)).
